Wine Down Wednesday May 4th
Experience the beauty of Old Towne Creek County Park during Wine Down Wednesday. Guests will enjoy wine, hors d’oeuvres, and live music at this hidden gem located in West Ashley. Scenic Old Towne Creek County Park is not yet regularly open to the public, but on select dates this spring and fall, it will be your spot to wind down.

Online registration ends at midnight on the day before each event. On the day of the event, admission can be purchased by calling 843-795-4386 by 2 p.m. or at the event gate if available.
Old Towne Creek County Park, formerly Ashem Farm, was home to Charleston preservationist Emily Ravenel Farrrow and her St. Andrews Riding Academy. Located in West Ashley, the 67-acre estate is dotted with open fields mixed among groves of Live Oaks. Be inspired by the legacy of the Lowcountry’s nature and history with views from the park of South Carolina’s first English settlement at Charles Towne Landing, and the winding of Old Towne Creek through the salt marsh. Currently, the park is only open for programs and private rentals, but along with several other property holdings throughout the Lowcountry, it will one day become a county park available for regular use. Wine Down Wednesday is a great opportunity to get a sneak peek of your future park.
