Featuring locations made famous by the opera and DuBose Heyward’s novel, Porgy—including Catfish Row—the tour will feature sites associated with the fictional characters as well as the real people on which they are based. Your knowledgeable guide will provide a rich historical context for the work and its creators and also visit sites that inspired the production’s visual designer, artist Jonathan Green.
