Featuring the Gibbes Museum of Art’s extraordinary print collection, Whistler and Japonisme examines the Asian influences that deeply informed James McNeill Whistler’s artistic practice. This focus exhibition brings together Whistler’s etchings and woodblock prints created by the great Japanese masters.
