Live 5 News reported that Hermine was downgraded from a Category 1 hurricane to a tropical storm hours after making landfall early Friday morning.
This does not eliminate the dangers of the weather today. A tropical storm can bring sustained winds from 40 to 75 mph as well as flash floods. Typically, wind gusts range from 45-55 mph.
