On November 15th at 1:30 PM, Dr. Tim Kana of Coastal Science and Engineering will be on the Island to provide a guided tour of the Seabrook beach renourishment project. Dr. Kana is the lead engineer for this project, which was recently awarded the Best Restored Beach in America award from the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association (ASBPA).
The tour will begin with a brief presentation that will be given at the Community Center on Oyster Catcher Court at 1:30 PM. Attendees will then head to North Beach for a guided tour of the project site. Any Seabrook residents are welcome to attend. The tour will conclude by 3:00 PM.
