Exchange Outing to CSO

Forty-six exchange members and guests gathered at The Seabrook Island Club on Friday, November 18th, for cocktails and buffet dining before boarding a bus headed into Charleston to enjoy a Masterworks performance at The Gaillard Center.

The orchestra opened the evening with Franz Schubert’s Symphony in B Minor.  Following intermission, the CSO Chorus, under the direction of Robert Taylor, with guest soloists, Cheyanne Coss and Jeffrey Gates, join the orchestra to perform Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem, under the direction of Ken Lam.  The blending of these two stellar organizations was exceptional.

Everyone had a very pleasurable evening.  Special thanks to Roger Steel for coordinating this event.  (Pictures of guests enjoying dinner before heading into town)
