Members and guests of the WACC will meet at the Mark Clark Hall on the campus of The Citadel to hear Ambassador Jerry Lanier speak on the topic of “Washington and the World: The Global Challenges facing the Trump Administration.” Please note, the Mark Clark Hall is a new meeting location for the group.
Ambassador Lanier is highly qualified to speak on the topic having had foreign service assignments in the Far East, the Middle East, Africa and as an advisor to the government in Washington, D.C.
The social hour begins at 5:15 p.m. when there will be hors d’oeuvres, wine and beverages as well as interesting people to meet.
Attendance is by membership which can be obtained online at waccharleston.org or at the meeting. A guest can attend once per year by paying $20 on site. Parking is close, ample and free.
