Research Study on Coastal Hurricane Activity

Seabrook resident, Charlie  Measter, contributed information about an interesting research study on coastal hurricane action, specifically Hurricane Matthew, that was reported in Nature (“the international weekly journal of science”).  NCEI (NOAA) scientist, Jim Kossin, discusses a natural buffer zone located on the U.S. East Coast that is weakening storm activity as it makes landfall.
