How about getting a group together to bid on one of the featured items in this year’s live auction at the Green Space Gala?
The “Seabrook 7&7” is making an appearance at the live auction again this year. It’s a bourbon tasting and gourmet dinner for 8 people – 7 bourbons and 7 courses. And, yes, we know a Seagram’s 7&7 is 7-Up with a blended whiskey, not a bourbon, but please don’t blame us for trying to be clever.
Start the evening with bourbon cocktails on the porch before sitting down at the table to taste seven special bourbons, each matched with its own small-plate course of food. There’s some bourbon history and lore thrown in for fun as you progress from an all-corn mash bill to bourbons more rye and wheat forward.
So “get your friends together” for a special evening. Bidding was fast and furious last year so be ready to go when the Seabrook 7&7 hits the floor at the Gala’s live auction on Sunday, March 12.
