On 20 March, Berkeley Electric Cooperative informed the Town that due to replacement of a pole for a transmission line serving Johns Island, power to all of Johns Island (including all of Seabrook Island and Kiawah Island) will be cut off from 2:00 am through 6:00 am on Sunday, 26 March. Berkeley Electric will begin mailing its formal statement concerning this power interruption Tuesday, 21 March.
