South Carolina Stringrays Go To The Playoffs

Did you know we have a professional minor league ice hockey team right here in Charleston?  The Stingrays are based in North Charleston and is the first professional ice hockey team established in the state of South Carolina. They are the affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals.

This year they have once again made it to the Kelly Cup Playoff.  The Kelly Cup is the minor league equivalent to the Stanley Cup for the major league teams.

The first two games are in Greenville, SC on Thursday, April 13 and Friday, April 14.  They are at home at the North Charleston Coliseum on Monday, April 17 and Tuesday, April 18.
