It was a very exciting morning at the Lake House! Over 211 people ran/walked the Fourth of July 5K Walk/Run at the Lake House. The weather was one of those “good news-bad news” stories. It was very humid before the race and then rained for a few minutes during the race to cool off the runners/walkers.
The first place finisher for the men was Jack
Filan who ran the race in 21.54 minutes. Sovi Wellons was the winner for the women with a time of 25.45. They were soon followed by many more runners.
Thanks to all the staff at the Lake House, volunteers, runners, walkers and viewers for a great race!
