Town Of Seabrook Island Hurricane Irma Update

TOWN OF SEABROOK ISLAND Hurricane Irma UPDATE No. 7

St. John’s Fire District (SJFD) Chief Coleen Walz advised the Town on 9 September that, based on the potential for high water and flooding with the forecasted storm surge, SJFD expects to temporarily remove Apparatus from the Seabrook Island station. Removal of Apparatus could occur as early as Sunday evening. Residents should bear in mind that response to emergency calls to SJFD can be hampered while Apparatus is away.
