The news channels are reporting that Berkeley Electric is having power outages.
Checking the Berkeley Electric Power Outage Map does not show any outages on Seabrook Island. We will keep monitoring it.
Also, Live 5 is reporting that a Tornado Watch has been issued for our area until 2:00 pm. Warm weather is coming in from the ocean and that makes it ripe for tornadoes.
Keep your cell phones charged, so that if we do lose power, you can still receive updates.
