Classical Sundays returns for an eclectic second season of exciting Chamber Music. The first concert will be held at 4:00pm on October 8, 2017. The concert is free, good will donations are accepted, and no tickets are required.
What: Featuring Tacy Edwards, Flute with Michael Haldeman – percussion, Roman Pekar – bass, and Laura Ball – piano presenting Claude Bolling’s Suite No. 1 for Flute and Jazz Piano and works by Gossec, JS Bach, Enesco, and DePonte.
Tacy Edwards, co-founder of North Charleston POPS! and principal flutist with Orchestra Kentucky brings her exquisite talent and lyricism to the Holy Spirit series with an exciting ensemble of talented players to feature Bolling’s iconic Jazz Suite for Flute. Classical Sundays is thrilled to welcome this versatile and well-known Charleston artist and voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy as we kick off our second season of free community concerts. Join us for an afternoon of flute classics and exciting and percussive chamber works.
