The Fleming Tournament begins today! 223 players have registered to play, many of them highly ranked national and international champions. We will see the best players in the region, ages 35-80, playing singles, doubles, and mixed-doubles matches. Thirty-two of the entrants are Seabrookers.
Players will be arriving today and checking in. There will be only a few matches today. Thursday, however, will be a full day of play with 60 to 70 matches. Friday will have the most matches, with about 110 scheduled. Saturday will be the semi-finals and some finals. Most finals will be played on Sunday.
Play will commence each day at 9:00 am and continue on until about 5:00 pm. The order of play starts with the single matches, then doubles and finally mixed doubles.
