SINHG Goes Behind The Scenes
SINHG members took a memorable tour this past week of the infrastructure of Seabrook 
Island. At the SIPOA office we learned about storm drainage, road and pipeline maintenance and met our new security company staff. Hopping on the SIPOA “wagon”, our guide, Jim Bannwart, arranged tours of the Seabrook Island Utility Commission water waste treatment facility, water pumping station, fire department and horse stables. By the end of the morning , we came away with a much greater appreciation of what all is involved in keeping our beautiful island functioning and safe.
