The annual Johns Island oyster roast festival will be held on December 9. Proceeds support local children living with disabilities. Come enjoy delicious local Johns Island oysters, beer and some of the low countries finest artist crafters and small businesses at the always beautiful Trophy Lakes. Saturday, December 9th from 12-5, all you can eat oysters from 1-4. VIP passes can only be purchased in advanced for $25 through the Charleston city paper. Or general admission is only $5 advance or $10 at the gate. Children under 12 are free to get in. $10 buckets may also be purchased on the day of this event. Please leave pets at home. And no coolers are permitted. There will be jump castles for the kids, live music from Plane Jane and this is a perfect jump start to that holiday shopping! Buy local!
