Music Director, Ken Lam, conducts the Charleston Symphony Orchestra in Johannes Brahms’ joyous Symphony No. 2. This exciting program opens with Dvořák’s tone poem, Midday Witch, based on an eerie Czech folktale. The first half concludes with Robert Schumann’s beautiful and lyrical Cello Concerto in A minor, featuring CSO Principal Cellist, Norbert Lewandowski.
