Town meetings have been around in the United States since the 17th century and property owners meetings, although not as old, are an offshoot of the town meeting.
One of the best ways to find out what is happening in Seabrook Island is to attend Town and SIPOA Board of Directors meetings. There you can see our elected officials at work on daily issues as well as determining the direction of our community.
