3 Cheeses in 3 Hours:

On March 2, Seabrookers convened at the home of Kathy and Jeff Pompe for a class on cheese making.  Casey Price, the “Goat Lady’ from Jeremiah Farm and Goat Dairy, demonstrated to the group how to make triple pepperhack (aka spicy mozzarella), queso Mexicano fresco, and whole milk ricotta cheese.  The participants learned all about cheese making, including separating the curd and whey using a cheese cloth, adding flavor with spices and fresh grown herbs, and the different types of cheeses you can make using cow’s milk and goat’s milk. Fun was had by all!
