Just to remind everyone, there will be a run off election for the South Carolina Republican candidates for Governor and Attorney General.
Voting
When/Where: The run off election will take place on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Seabrookers will vote at the Lake House. The polls will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Voters in line at 7:00 PM will be allowed to vote. Curbside voting will be available to voters with a physical disability.
Who May/May Not Vote: Seabrook Island registered voters who voted the Republican ballot at the Lake House in the Primary elections are eligible to vote in this run off election. Since there is no run off election for South Carolina Democratic candidates, Seabrook Island voters who voted the Democrat ballot at the Lake House in the Primary elections are not eligible to vote in the run off election. Additionally, Seabrook voters who did NOT vote in either Primary on June 12th may vote in this run off election.
Required Identification: Voters will need to bring a current/unexpired photo ID to the poll. Acceptable photo ID’s include: South Carolina Driver’s License, South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles Identification Card, South Carolina Voter Registration Card with a photograph, Federal Military Identification Card with photograph, or U.S. Passport.
One other note: Voters who have changed address may need to confirm their new address when checking in at the poll. Therefore, it would be helpful to bring a Driver’s License, utility bill, bank statement or paycheck showing the new address.
