John’s Island Regional Library has several interesting activities in August. Ongoing exhibits will include displays of Margaret Spackman’s awarding winning Lowcountry soft-sculpture “Sea Creatures,” Barbara Fox’s display of her travel photographs, and “Book-A-Librarian” where you can receive one-on-one help with technology issues such as learning how to use downloadable media on your tablet or smartphone.
In addition, there are several weekly events such as Trivia for Tweens and Teens, movies and story times. To see the full August calendar for dates and times, click here. You can also see what is going on at the Main Library as well as the other branches by choosing those locations.
