Some Venues Closing for Hurricane Michael

Several businesses, schools and government offices are closing tomorrow in advance of the expected impact of Hurricane Michael, even though at this time it is projected to be a tropical storm when it reaches Charleston.

Among the venues closing on Thursday, October 11, that we are aware of at this time, are Charleston County and Berkeley County Schools and district offices, Charleston County offices and courts,  Seabrook Island Town Hall, College of Charleston and Drayton Hall.

In addition, Columbia and Lexington in the Midlands are also reporting closures tomorrow.

You may want to check with the venue before going anywhere tomorrow and possibly through the weekend.

Remember, be prepared; stay safe.
