Did you know that Kelly Bowling and her Pilates class have returned to the fitness class schedule at the Lake House? This class is now scheduled on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 2:00 pm, however, there will be no class on December 24 and 26.
Do you want to tone your abdominals and strengthen your core in the New Year? Pilates could be for you! This is a full-body workout that improves flexibility, builds core strength and develops control and endurance. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. The core, consisting of the muscles of the abdomen, low back, and hips, is often called the “powerhouse” and is thought to be the key to a person’s stability.
