Kiawah Arts Council Ticket Policy

The Kiawah Art Council has just published their ticket policy for events.

Ticket Policy Notice

Effective January 14, 2019, the following changes will be made to ticketing procedures for Arts & Cultural Events:

When an event sells out, the Town will no longer maintain a ticket waitlist for interested parties. Any tickets turned back in will be rereleased online at 9:00 a.m. two days prior to the corresponding event.

The Town will no longer sell tickets at the door for paid events.

These changes are being implemented to help make our process more manageable and to provide a fair and equitable system of releasing returned tickets.

You can review the full ticket policy below.

Arts & Cultural Events Ticket Policy

Release and Distribution

All events are open to the public and tickets for events are available at the Town of Kiawah Island Municipal Center (4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway) and online on a first come, first served basis.

Ticket release dates are two weeks prior to the event date. Posters state Kiawah and public release dates. Kiawah property owners have a 3-day lead time on obtaining tickets for Arts Council events. These tickets are ONLY available in person at the Municipal Center M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

All online tickets are made available on the public release date.

Cultural Events only have one release date.

Tickets are limited to 2 per household except for events held at Holy Spirit where the limit is 4 per household.

Tickets may not be picked up for friends or neighbors. Tickets will not be held for or mailed to patrons. The ACEC does not operate a “will call” list.

Sold Out Events

The ACEC does not operate a waitlist.

The ACEC encourages those who obtained tickets but can no longer use them to notify Keely Laughlin, klaughlin@ kiawahisland.org.

Returned tickets may be made available for redistribution online at 9 a.m. two days prior to the event.

Event Protocol

Seating is general admission, and done on a first come, first served basis.

Have your tickets ready, either on your phone or printed when you arrive at the door to ensure smooth entry for all guests.

The ACEC recommends arriving 30 minutes prior to the event start.
