On March 26, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the Lake House, there will be an opportunity to establish an ongoing project to help our fellow Seabrookers. The Seabrook Island Village group will be hosting an informational program for both subscribers and volunteers in an effort to help our fellow community members during difficult times. Their goal is to empower residents to remain independent at home as long as it is safe to do so and remain engaged in the community. It is part of a national movement called Village to Village, a movement of villages of neighbors helping neighbors. Several Seabrookers have teamed up to bring subscribers in need together with trained volunteers who would help to allow residents to remain in the community by providing assistance with things like transportation, shopping or just lending an ear. If you or someone you know is in need or available to help, please join us for this informational session.
