We just received notification from Mike Gorski of Island Transportation today, April 2, at 9:30 am, that there is a major accident on Highway 17 between Main Road and I-526, near Carolina Bay. Traffic is impacted.
If you are heading on or off the island, you may want to take Bees Ferry to avoid the area affected.
