May Calendar of Events at The Charleston Museum

The Charleston Museum educates Charleston area residents and visitors about the natural and cultural history of the South Carolina Lowcountry through collections, exhibitions, preservation, conservation, research and related programming. May 1* – Toddler Day: Fiesta!, 10 – 11 am.

May 1 – Kid Tours: Pets, 3:30 pm.

May 4* – Sweetgrass Basket Weaving Workshop, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.

May 9* – Siege Lines Walking Tour with Director, Carl P. Borick, 5:30 pm.

May 10 – Conversations with a Curator: Ornithology and Ecosystems with Curator of Natural History, Matthew Gibson, 10:30 am.

May 12 – Last day to view #YesterdayInMicrofashion: 150 Years of Charleston’s Childrenin the Historic Textiles Gallery

May 15* – Toddler Days: All the Colors of the Rainbow, 10 – 11 am.

May 17* – Home School History Day: Nature Art at the Dill Sanctuary, 10 – 11 am.

May 23 – Members First Look: War on Fashion, 2 pm.

May 23* – Full STEAM Ahead: Animals in Action at the Dill Sanctuary, 3:30 – 4:30 pm.

May 24 – New Exhibit: War on Fashion opens in the Historic Textiles Gallery.

May 29* – Toddler Days: Animals Underground, 10 – 11 am.
