The Water Wellness Mission (WWM) was founded in 2016 for the sole purpose of providing new wells for the hundreds of folks living on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands who suffer from contaminated well water and failing wells.
To date, the WWM has installed over 90 wells and filtration systems, enabling over three hundred men, women and children to drink and wash in clean, healthy water. There are more than 50 families on the wait list for a new well.
