Posture, Balance, and Stretch with Kelly Bowling

Time: 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm
This semi-private series is from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Mondays, beginning Monday, August 19, 2019 with the final class on September 23, 2019. Please note, space in this semi-private is limited and preregistration is required. Cost for the entire six week series is only $60, with a minimum of 6 pre-registered participants and a maximum of 10. This series is not included in the monthly class pass. The fee will be charged to your Property Owner/ Club account. No drop-ins are allowed. This series is available to Seabrook Island Property Owners, Seabrook Island Club members, and guests staying on Seabrook Island.

Everyone can benefit from making a concentrated effort on correcting posture, developing balance, and stretching the muscles, fascia and connective tissues of the body. This semi-private series is geared towards those who have been noticing challenges in this area and want to develop basic skills to improve posture, stability, and balance. Benefits of this class are intended to assist with preventing falls and maintaining personal independence, while increasing flexibility and mobility. The class begins seated in a chair and also utilizes the barre for balance exercises. Light hand weights might also be used.
