Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR) on Johns Island invites Seabrookers to its volunteer training to help empower children and adults to lead more active lives through therapeutic horsemanship. No prior knowledge of horses or horseback riding is required.

This is an in-depth training that will teach participants everything they need to know to volunteer in CATR’s therapeutic riding programs. This year, we have expanded the training to include important horse care techniques and student disability education.
