From STJFD (St Johns Fire Department):
Roads including Bohicket and River Rd are down to one lane in many spots with large trees still on the roadway. EXTREME caution should be made traversing these roadways, including tomorrow [Friday, September 6, 2019]. Wires are still down in several spots.
From BerkeleyElectr3 (Berkeley Electric Cooperative):
Now that restoration efforts have begun there is a specific order in which we will work. We will focus on the repairs that get the most people back on in the shortest amount of time. The first step is the transmission lines which is Santee Cooper’s responsibility. That means we will start with repairs at our substations and work out to the main lines and then to individual homes.
