SIPOA Hurricane Dorian Update #4

SIPOA clean up crews are on-island and making good progress in removing fallen trees and debris from roadways. We will post some “before” photos so Property Owners can see progress made.

The gate will reopen on Saturday, 9/7/19 at noon. Contractors may enter the island on Saturday afternoon, and again for regular contractor hours on Monday. SIPOA clean up contractors will be working on Sunday to continue clearing debris from roadways.
On Monday, 9/9/19, SIPOA will have extra trucks on-island to collect yard debris. Please place the debris curbside, away from storm drains and utility boxes. We may be able to schedule an additional pickup later in the week in advance of the regular pickup on Monday, 9/16/19. We will post updates during the week. Regime debris pickup will be on the same schedule. Household yard debris for pickup after Monday, 9/9/19 should be bagged and placed curbside.
Brown and White pickup is still scheduled for Friday, 9/13/19.
The SIPOA Administration Office and Community Center will reopen on Monday. The Lake House is tentatively scheduled to reopen on Saturday morning at 8:00a.m., but will not reopen unless power is restored. There is no “before hours” access on Saturday.
If you have questions about exterior to repairs to homes that have damage, or questions about tree removal on your property, please contact the ARC office at: firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. SIPOA has processes in place to expedite critical storm-emergency repairs and to issue approvals on-site if necessary.
The SIPOA Administration Office has a limited supply of lawn/leaf bags available @ .50. Office hours are M-F 8:00 a. – 4:00 pm.
