SINHG Takes to the Water

After a short delay from hurricane Dorian, SINHG Trips for the fall season have taken to the road. 24 SINHG members boarded the Schooner Pride at the Charleston Marina in late September for a sunset tour of the harbor made even more enjoyable with a wine tasting. A smaller group took a more active tour of duty with Holy City Sailing, helping to man the sails for a sunny day on the Bohicket and North Edisto Rivers in the company of dolphins and pelicans.

And on terra firma, SINHG’ers spent a morning at Lake House with Sarah Edwards-Hammond of “Baskets By Sarah” learning how to make the Lowcountry’s iconic sweetgrass baskets. SINHG Trips for members continue through mid-December. To learn about membership, visit sinhg.org
