Are you working on your family history or want to start? If so, the Seabrook Island Genealogy Club (DIRT – Digging Into Roots Together) is a wonderful way to work with other genealogists to get assistance and advice. We generally meet twice a month at the Lake House with presentations ranging from genealogical research, DNA, organizing, digitizing, discussing brickwalls and more.
The sessions will cover basic topics as well as advanced genealogy research. On October 9, 2019, we will start a new series of meetings that will focus on “Beginning Genealogy – How To Get Started and What To Do.”
Our regular meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Osprey 2, Lake House. Feel free to join any of the meetings, bring your questions, your computers and your eureka moments. For more information, link to our website.
