Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament: November 1 – October 31

Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament

The year-long Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament is held annually from November 1 – October 31 and recognizes outstanding saltwater and freshwater catches made in the tri-county area. Each year, winners receive plaques acknowledging their catches. The competition is restricted to the waters of Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties, and boats leaving from and returning to the waters between the South Santee and South Edisto Rivers. Click here for more information, rules and regulations.

The Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission administers the tournament, along with the assistance of a voluntary committee comprised of local fishing club representatives and other avid anglers. CCPRC, local fishing clubs, individuals, and organizations contribute financially to the operation of the Tournament. We invite your support with a monetary or in-kind sponsorship so that we may continue to promote this tournament and provide recognition to tournament participants.

If you would like to help promote the sport of fishing and this recreational opportunity, please consider sponsoring at one of the following levels:
Trout Friend, $25
Tuna Sponsor, $50
Redfish Donor, $100
Marlin Benefactor, $250
Sponsors will receive an invitation to the annual awards banquet and be listed in the official Charleston Trident Fishing Tournament brochure, on the website, and in social media postings. For more information about sponsorship, please submit this form  or call Tournament Coordinator Ashley Houdyschell at 843-762-8023.
