Town of Seabrook Island Municipal Election: Candidate for Town Council – Patricia Fox

Pat FoxPatricia and John Fox moved to the Lowcounty in 1976. Pat was introduced to Seabrook Island that same year while working for a local advertising agency. Pat and her husband have a long relationship with the island. They owned a Fiddlers Cove townhouse in the late 1980’s and returned in 2008 when they moved into their permanent home on Seabrook Island Road.

After becoming a full time resident, Pat continued to work as the Dean of the Film, Media and Visual Arts Division at Trident Technical College until 2017. Since retiring, she has joined the Tidelines team as both an editor and graphic designer. She is also a member the Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy Board where she has used her skills to create a new SIGSC website as well as design all the printed material for the annual gala and fall newsletter.

Pat decided to run for town council because she wants to help preserve the quality of life on Seabrook Island. This includes not only the well-being of the residents but also the conservation of our natural resources. Having lived in the Charleston area for more than 40 years, she is keenly aware the challenges that face our community. She feels that her communication and collaborative management skills combined with her prior experience working with state and federal agencies will be useful for working on the Town Council.
