After an absence of several years, a Marine Corps Birthday Ball is returning to the Sea Islands on Monday evening, November 11, 2019 (Veteran’s Day) to celebrate the 244th Anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, which was founded on November 10, 1775.
This traditional event, celebrated worldwide by Marines past and present, is being held at the scenic, oceanside Sandcastle Community Center on Kiawah Island. A delicious dinner, open bar, and live music will be provided . . . along with a Marine color guard, a spirited video message from the Commandant, ceremonial cake-cutting and loads of fun. The cost is $60.
Whether you are a Marine Corps veteran, active duty Marine, Reservist, Navy Corpsman, former member of another Armed Service . . . or simply an admirer of handsome Marines in uniform, come and join in the fun and history of celebrating the United States Marine Corps . . . “The Few, The Proud.”
