Nineteen SINHG members took part in a lively interactive presentation and discussion with Lead Meteorologist Blair Holloway at the National Weather Service facility in North Charleston on Friday, November 8, 2019. The morning’s comprehensive weather-related discussion focused on topics of particular interest to Seabrook Islanders, such as hurricanes, storm surges, weather forecasting, and alerts. Afterwards we dropped into the main forecasting room and engaged in pleasant banter with the other meteorologists on duty. It was an impressive, informative morning.
