The Seabrook Island Swim Club hosted the 4th Annual Polar Bear Plunge at North Beach on a beautifully sunny but chilly New Year’s morning. The temperature didn’t deter the hearty swimmers who welcomed in 2020 with a refreshing sprint into the cold water. There were even more spectators on hand to watch and enjoy the spectacle. A bonfire and hot chocolate awaited both participants and supporters!
As the photos convey, it was a terrific morning on the beach and a good time was had by all. Thanks to Nic Porter, Jamie Mixson and the Lake House staff for their support of this event and thanks to all who made the plunge or cheered them on!
