SINHG Spring Trips Reach Halfway Mark

With the spring equinox rapidly approaching, SINHG Trips for the season have reached the halfway point, with SINHG members ranging as far afield as Spartanburg for a tour of the newly accessible BMW plant, recently reopened to tours after retooling for producing the newer and larger X-class SAVs. The tour included a visit to the BMW Museum housed on the campus and a stop for lunch in the cafeteria.

SINHG members indulged their artistic urges in two workshops – one at Blue Heron Glass, where members created their own art glass trays depicting downtown Charleston’s famous and colorful Rainbow Row, and another at the Lake House for a brand new offering with crafts maker Barbara Clawson, who taught participants how to make their own beaded jewelry.

SINHG Trips for members continue through early May before taking a break for the summer. You can learn more about SINHG membership by visiting the SINHG website here.
