Local Cancellations Updated March 17

The following cancellations due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak have been reported to Tidelines:

The Lake House is closed as of 8:00 pm Monday, March 16, and will remain closed through Tuesday, March 31. During the closure, all meetings, events, and activities are canceled and there is no after-hours access.

-The remaining 2019-2020 Kiawah Arts & Cultural Events season that ends in June has been officially canceled.

-The Seabrook Island Grief Support Group is cancelled for March 18 and will not meet until further notice when the Lake House reopens.

-All SINHG Trips through April 15 have been canceled, as well as the April Evening Program.

-The Town of Seabrook Island has canceled the shredding event scheduled for Friday, April 24.

-March Sip and Stroll and Cars & Coffee at Freshfields are canceled.

-Event to Celebrate Charleston’s 350th Anniversary with K-S Exchange scheduled for April 1 is canceled.

McCann’s Irish Pub is closed except for curbside pickup for food only; hours are 1:00 pm – 5.30 pm.

Holy Spirit Catholic Church has canceled all services and activities effective 12:00 pm, March 17, through the end of day on Wednesday, April 1, 2020.

The Episcopal Church of Our Saviour has suspended services and activities through March 29.  Day school and offices are closed.

Respite Care Charleston has suspended all in-person programs and activities effective immediately.

-The Charleston Coastal Choir concert for March 27 is canceled.

The Seabrook Island Artist Guild‘s March 17 meeting and Stephanie Marzella’s demo has been canceled.

The Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy Gala scheduled for Sunday, March 15, has been postponed to September or October.

Insure Seabrook 101 Seminars scheduled for Monday, March 16, Wednesday, March 18, and Monday, March 23, are canceled.

Exchange Club of Kiawah-Seabrook meeting scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, is canceled.

Chili Cook-Off scheduled for Saturday, March 21, is canceled.  The Gorski and Friends Challenge is still continuing.

The Lowcountry Boilers have canceled their performance and fundraiser at The Lake House scheduled for Friday, March 27.
