This is the year we will all be completing the 2020 U.S. Census, which is conducted every 10 years as is required by our Constitution. The census is used to determine the allocation of daily services, products, and support for our greater community. Every year, billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data.
Each home should have received an invitation or notice to respond to the census—online, by phone, or by mail—between March 12-20. If you didn’t receive the notice from the Census Bureau, please call 1-844-330-2020 to advise them. The invitation includes your census ID number which is required when completing your household census. If you are filling out the census for your home, you should count everyone who is or will be living there as of April 1, 2020. Click here for more detailed information on who to count.

It will take about 10 minutes to complete the form and you must complete your questionnaire once you begin. The census for each household is required by law and if help is needed to complete the questionnaire, call the Census Bureau at 1-844-330-2020.
