The Seabrook Island Club has announced the following information:

Driving Range Closed Sunday & Monday, April 5 and 6

The new irrigation system installation project moves to the range Sunday & Monday; therefore, the range will be closed those days with plans to re-open Tuesday morning. The short game areas will remain open during this time.

Golf Shop & Operations Update

The golf pro shop and locker rooms are temporarily closed to members and guests. Restrooms will remain open.

Tee times may be made via phone (843) 768 – 2529 and online in the members’ section of www.discoverseabrook.com. For same day play, please call the golf shop.

Check-in for golf play will take place outside near the driving range tee. A limited number of pro shop items (balls, gloves, etc.) will be available for purchase.

Mixed Couples, MGA and SILGA should use online scoring only. Printed scorecards for all group play will not be available at this time. Groups must handle their own games (scorecards, posting of scores, etc.)

Only one player will be allowed in a golf cart, with the exception of family members who may choose to ride together. However, walking is encouraged. There is a limited supply of golf carts. They will be available as long as the supply lasts.

If you generate any trash, please dispose of it in the proper receptacles. This includes those who ride in carts.

Golf bag storage has been postponed and members are asked to handle their own golf bag. There is no due date for when members should pick up their bags…simply keep your clubs with you the next time you play or practice, rather than returning them to the golf staff.

Rental equipment and demo clubs are not available.

Rakes, flagsticks and ball washers have been removed and inverted cups have been installed. For balls in a footprint, the ball may be moved to the nearest unaffected area in a bunker no nearer the hole.

PGA lead coaching sessions will be limited to a max of 3 students with proper spacing. Individual instruction will continue.

Please adhere to proper Social Distancing when engaging with employees. You may be only encountering one or two employees, but they will be engaging with hundreds of people. For your safety and the employees safety please stay six feet away from all non-household members.
