The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the world’s great art museums, housing a collection that spans centuries and the globe. A personal visit to the Art Institute is an awe-inspiring, and somewhat overwhelming experience but since that is not a possibility during the COVID19  pandemic, there is a wonderful option you can enjoy from home. You can view their collection, which has been digitized in high resolution, and casually browse at any time of day—every day if you like. No, it’s not the same as the in-person visit, but it does provide a wonderful learning and recreational experience!
