A Summer with Southern Authors, the series developed by the Charleston Library Society in cooperation with Evening Post Books and Buxton Books, will continue with another virtual conversation on Thursday, July 23, at 4:30 pm.
“You don’t wrestle alligators. You come to terms with them.” Biologist and photographer Phil Wilkinson shares his lifetime of love, study, and photography of the unique ecosystem of the Santee Delta, where he’s been on a first-name basis with some alligators for more than 40 years. Wilkinson will be in conversation with John Lane, the award-winning environmental writer who put narrative to Phil’s beautiful photos. To RSVP, click here.
