A Summer with Southern Authors John Warley

A Summer with Southern Authors, the series developed by the Charleston Library Society in cooperation with Evening Post Books and Buxton Books, will continue with another virtual conversation on Thursday, August 6, at 4:30 pm.

Join John Warley, author of The Home Guard and Stand Forever, Yielding Never, as he has a conversation with Polly Buxton of Buxton Books about his incredible stories, fiction and nonfiction alike. With a historian’s eye for detail, Warley has written a story set in and around Beaufort during the Civil War in his book The Home Guard. His history of the Citadel, Stand Forever, Yielding Never, is rich in intimate details of the institution and its leadership. He’ll discuss both books in this session. To RSVP, click here.
