The organizer of Cars on Kiawah has announced the cancellation of the 2020 show. It was originally scheduled for April 18, 2020, then rescheduled for November 7, 2020, and now it is canceled completely for 2020.
This annual classic car show on Kiawah Island is typically held in the spring. Next year, the PGA Championship will be held at the Ocean Course in May, so the organizers of the car show are discussing holding the event in the Fall 2020.
According to their press release, “Cars on Kiawah is an annual celebration of the Southeast’s finest automobiles displayed in the lush setting of Ocean Park on Kiawah Island, South Carolina. The show attracts 300 classic cars along with several thousand spectators. Cars on Kiawah is hosted by the Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. An annual donation of event proceeds is made to the Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic (www.bifmc.org).”
