It’s harvest season and farm-fresh produce is available at numerous farmers markets around Charleston.
Sea Island Farmers Market is open year-round. This fresh air market takes place Saturdays 9:30 am to 1:30 pm and is hosted at Charleston Collegiate’s campus located at 2024 Academy Road, Johns Island. Follow on Facebook and Instagram for updates on market vendors.
Charleston Farmers Market has recently returned to Marion Square albeit with limited vendors. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Charleston Farmers Market is currently open on Saturdays from 8:00 am to noon as an “essentials-only” market. Masks are required, and for the time being, shoppers will need to abide by one-way browsing to help maintain 6-foot social distancing between shoppers.
West Ashley Farmers Market can be found at the Charleston Tennis Center, 19 Farmfield Avenue, on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. West Ashley will be an “essentials only” market for the foreseeable future due to the ongoing pandemic. Free parking is available at the tennis center. Head over to the Sunday Brunch Farmers Market located at 1977 Maybank Highway behind the Pour House. Vendors set up shop every Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. To view the array of vendors, click here. Customers are encouraged to wear masks and maintain safe distances from each other.

Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is located at 645 Coleman Boulevard (Moultrie Middle School) from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm every Tuesday.
